Job Description for Analytics Specialist role at Maker

 
Role Overview 
In this role, you will work with clients to define and implement landing page optimization strategies, define testing roadmaps and oversee the end-to-end production and testing process. 
You will work in close partnership with our design and development team to build and concepts and product features built to increase conversion rates for your clients. 
You will also manage the analytics and reporting processes using tools like Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Google Data Studio, GTM, GTM implementation, etc.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities 
  • Increase revenue, conversion rate and ROAS for Maker’s clients 
  • Create better-converting landing pages, web-pages on the basis on analytics, user research and competitor analysis 
  • Understand user behaviour using analytics (e.g. Maker Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and behaviour tracking tools (Crazyegg, Hotjar)
  • Study latest trends in the e-commerce store landscape and execute thorough competitor analysis for each industry 
  • Set-up, understand performance, create reports and conclude A/B tests
  • Create, execute, and refine new testing strategies that directly address client goals and challenges (ex: creative, landing pages, product features)
  • Work closely with the design team to create data-driven designs
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, project managers deliver the finalised design and implement strategies
  • Strategise new pages for Maker’s site that accelerate lead generation 
  • Advise and assist our team in planning and executing the delivery of our product vision
  • Prefer having experience in building dashboards using Data Studio or other visualisation tools
  • Day-to-day client communication to make sure effective delivery of the goals

Must Have 
  • Bachelors/MBA degree and 3 years or more experience in CRO
  • Has worked with Google Analytics, GA4, Hotjar, Crazyegg and other analytics, behaviour tracking tools 
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing (ex: Facebook, AdWords, etc.), or a demonstrated ability to learn very quickly
  • Should have an eye for design, experience in working with UX/UI designers is preferred 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Relentless attitude in staying ahead of the curve on new strategies, advertising channels, and conversion rate optimization techniques
  • Ability to self-manage time and work schedule
  • Strong desire to learn, comfortable in a fast-moving environment and a multicultural team
  • Adept ability to challenge people while maintaining trust (We excel at pushing our clients to be their very best in all aspects of their landing page optimization)

Job type: Full-time, Monday- Friday (EST preferred)
